Keep yourself at least ONE smoke free area that you can retreat to. (better if he would smoke outside?) but don't make YOUR quit about HIS smoking. I quit with a smoker also....it can be done....quitting is quite personal....it won't matter if he smokes if YOU want to quit.....but you have to want it worse than you will want to smoke. if so it will happen.....
You have made it that first week....that is great....believe that there are going to be some easier times coming up.
Don't forget to set up a reward program and stick to it. Rewards will keep you focused and looking forward.
