Ending day 2

18 years ago 0 13 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Hi, I've now completed day 2 of my quit. I did fine today and only had major cravings after eating. I also felt the strong urge to reach into my purse as soon as I got into my car, then I realized that the ciggs were not in there as usual. The urge quickly passed. My symptoms today are a heavy and unclear head, kinda like I'm a little spacey feeling and tired. It's only 9:30 and I'm definitely ready for bed already. I know the nicotine is not completely out of my system yet, but so far, I have a very calming feeling over me, like right now, I'm at total peace with myself, not jittery, anxious, or nervous. Can't say I'll feel that way tomorrow, but for right now, this moment, that's how I feel. Thanks so much for this place. Congratulations Shutterbug. You should be very proud of yourself. Day two is a HUGE accomplishment! Now you know what to do. Keep doing what you have been doing for the last two days. I use to laugh at myself for all the times I reached for those cigarettes that weren't there anymore. Crazy how our minds think some times. Keep going. You are doing GREAT! SO GLAD THAT YOU ARE AT PEACE TODAY. STAY STRONG AND KNOW THAT LIFE IS SO MUCH BETTER WITHOUT A SMOKE HANGING OUT OF YOUR MOUTH OR POISONOUS GASES ENTERING YOUR PRECIOUS BODY! Good job!
