Anniversary Toot

18 years ago 0 9 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Hello to all, Time to toot for another anniversary. Made it to 6 years (2193 days) without picking up a cigarette. Yahoo!! How'd I do it, sounds too easy but here's some of my tools: Deep breathing, my wallet benefits card, staying close to this site when I was new, staying away from smoking places, rewarding myself, and focusing on just not smoking One Day At A Time even if my ass was gonna fall off. So I'm here to tell anyone starting out and wondering if this is possible, look around, there's gobs of success stories here. I rarely think of lighting up but I still look at my wallet benefits card and oh yeah, I PRAY every morning, haven't missed a day in 6 years and ain't gonna mess with that, doesn't seem to be broke. So, I think I'll treat myself to a night on the town this weekend with some of the money I've saved. Oh yeah, my friend said he quit smoking when he quit buying cigarettes. Ha!I told him it couldn't be that easy, but maybe it could. Best Wishes to all and Keep the Faith.. Joe D.
