Bear,
On the flip side...addicts here at SSC are the most patient, giving, rational, open minded, and accepting bunch of conformists you'd ever want to meet.
They are patient because they put up with us during our inital insanity of quitting.
They are giving because they encouraged us on every step of our journey to be smoke free.
They are rational because they have been able to distinguish junkie thinking from reality.
They are open minded because they know we each have our own ways to quit.
They are accepting because even if we slip they help us get back on our feet and encourage us to quit again.
They are conformists because they all realize they are addicts and know they have to conform to not smoking in order to beat the addiction into obedience.
:)
