I have so many! The one that comes to mind of when I knew I was free occured about 2 1/2 months after my last slip. I was extremely pissed off at somebody from this site and was very determined to smoke just out of spite. I walked to the store (refused to drive... made myself walk to let off some steam), but the walk wasn't long enough. When I got there, I was STILL determined to smoke. I bought a pack of cigarettes, my old brand, and a 6 pack of beer. My last slip was due to me being extremely intoxicated, so I figured that if I got drunk enough, I would "forget" that I'd quit smoking and just let my inhibitions go like last time. So, I walked home, still ready to smoke, got drunk as planned, and then destroyed all of the cigarettes while reading one of my reasons for quitting. See, when I made my list, it just so happened that I wrote down 20 reasons for quitting - the exact number of cigarettes in a pack! I didn't plan it that way, but it worked out that way. So, I destroyed the cigarettes and just knew from that moment on that I would never smoke again.
Crave the Quit!
