Say a quick pray for me

Best wishes today. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Instead of "you reap what you sow" (although that is not a bad one, and with all of the encouragement you spread around, you have primarily positives to reap and same with "what goes around, comes around") - try "How AWESOME it is that I chose life! Now I am going to rejoice in each day and live it to the fullest." You cannot change your past, but you surely have changed your present and your future. Mercy., good luck, I hope all is fine. Dentists are really good for checking things nowadays. I have a smoking story about that for sometime. I will pray for you mercy. Hi, I didn't say anything....and I don't know why. A few weeks ago I found a round flesh colored growth inside my cheek in my mouth. Smaller than my baby fingernail. It was one of those things you look at and say...."don't like it" So I went to my dentist and he thought it was a fibroma which is usually nothing. But he said...sometimes things look like nothing and surprise us. ...especailly as I had been a smoker. He had me wait two weeks and come back....which I did. It is still there so he set me up with a surgeon to have it removed. It is today at 2:45. He is still pretty sure it is nothing but he said your not in the clear till pathology checks it out. He said he wouldn't worry. I spent time on the internet and it doesn't look like cancer to me. It does sort of looks like those fibromas. Still...wouldn't that be the irony of it all. Get oral cancer AFTER I QUIT. Soooooo I guess it is the price I pay for smoking. Pretty heavy price isn't it? Spending the rest of your life wondering if you will become ill from something you selfishly did in the past. I hear over and over in my head.... "what goes around....comes around"...and "you reap what you sow" Well...gotta go gussy up incase the surgeons cute... :p maybe he won't notice my extra 7 pounds!!!!!!!! :8o: Mercy My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/21/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 178 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,560 Amount Saved: $795.66 Life Gained: Days: 23 Hrs: 9 Mins: 40 Seconds: 7
