reflections on reaching 6 months smoke free

Wow!! What a great job you've done. Six months is definitely worth rambling about!!! LOL Sounds like you've really gone through some life changes there and you've been strong and remained smoke free. That's just wonderful. Can you use your cigarette case as a coin purse? Would it work for holding a cell phone? hello everybody, this is my 6 month ramble, albeit two days early, but what the hey! When i first gave up smoking i waas in two minds, having been persuaded to quit by the doc. i still have 3 cigs in the drawer, which have never been touched, which i kept in case of desperation i suppose. I now feel i don't need to keep them so i am throwing them out.I don't however want to throw out my italian leather cigarette case. Any suggestions for alternative uses? BY the way, it felt great when i went to the doctor on tuesday, and he said, 'so you are still an ex- smoker?0 and i corrected him saying i am a non-smoker'. i must admit i haven't really had bAD CRAVES, JUST A COULE OF ROUGH DAYS, LIKE WHEN MOM WAS ILL, AND I THOUGHT MY CAR HAD BEEN STOLEN. onoe sad thing though, is i have seen my best friend slidde over the last couplwe of years into alcoholism, which has been very hard to watch. however i am still her friend, and i do try to support her. that's all for now love to all lynnexx My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/24/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 180 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,706 Amount Saved: 720 Life Gained: Days: 20 Hrs: 7 Mins: 10 Seconds: 14
