Hi Lolly,

Good to see you; glad you are well.

Yeah, I love reading the old threads from 2004 when I set out on this colourful and most rewarding journey!! Brings a wonderful time back to life for me. Wish I was setting out again now.......no, that can't be right?!

Hi Pen, (lovely to see you Lizzie,)
What a great trip I've had down memory lane reading through this thread.

New Quitters....there is a lot of wisdom in here, but you have to be patient and go through the thread...by the time you have done this, your crave may have subsided.

As for my craves....they are as old as the hills too....the triggers exist occasionally but I just love them as a chance to revel in the fact that I quit 6+ years ago.

Love Lolly.

Yea!  Hi Pen,

This is the first time I've been able to post for almost a year.  I've been able to log on, but there was never any "Reply to Discussion" option available or indeed a post new discussion.  So I've not been able to post for ages.

Anyway, what a great bump!

After nearly 7 years quit, the craves have long, long gone and now virtually all the triggers have been laid to rest too.

The smell of a freshly lit cigarette still leaves its mark and occasionally other situations prompt but are easily dismissed. Don't forget these are just triggers -  not craves – big difference!

Am having a couple AHA thoughts reading through this thread. Recognizing an area I can be active in improving.
