Great idea! Thanks, I'm going to try and sing it with that in mind the next time I hear it. Oh yeah, that's something else I've been enjoying so much more - singing! Since I don't have to stop and clear my throat every few seconds! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/29/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 10 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 160 Amount Saved: $40 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 3 Mins: 56 Seconds: 38

There is a new song by Natasha Bedingfield called Unwritten and as soon as i heard it I thought this is a great song for all of us quitters to here. Below are the lyrics.. Hope you like it.. I am unwritten, can't read my mind, I'm undefined I'm just beginning, the pen's in my hand, ending unplanned Staring at the blank page before you Open up the dirty window Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find Reaching for something in the distance So close you can almost taste it Release your inhibitions Feel the rain on your skin No one else can feel it for you Only you can let it in No one else, no one else Can speak the words on your lips Drench yourself in words unspoken Live your life with arms wide open Today is where your book begins The rest is still unwritten Oh, oh, oh I break tradition, sometimes my tries, are outside the lines We've been conditioned to not make mistakes, but I can't live that way Staring at the blank page before you Open up the dirty window Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find Reaching for something in the distance So close you can almost taste it Release your inhibitions Feel the rain on your skin No one else can feel it for you Only you can let it in No one else, no one else Can speak the words on your lips Drench yourself in words unspoken Live your life with arms wide open Today is where your book begins Feel the rain on your skin No one else can feel it for you Only you can let it in No one else, no one else Can speak the words on your lips Drench yourself in words unspoken Live your life with arms wide open Today is where your book begins The rest is still unwritten Staring at the blank page before you Open up the dirty window Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find Reaching for something in the distance So close you can almost taste it Release your inhibitions Feel the rain on your skin No one else can feel it for you Only you can let it in No one else, no one else Can speak the words on your lips Drench yourself in words unspoken Live your life with arms wide open Today is where your book begins Feel the rain on your skin No one else can fee

Anyone got any songs that when they hear sort of motivates them to stay quit. One thats good for me in Kelly clarkson "Since You've Been Gone" Its supposed to be about a guy but it can easily be replaced with cigarettes. theres a line "since you been gone, I can breathe for the first time..." Sorry im posting too much but this helps me!!! My quit smoking theme song is "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor. "First I was afraid I was petrified Kept thinking I could never live without you by my side But I spent so many nights thinking how you did me wrong I grew strong I learned how to carry on..." The entire song can very easily be about quitting smoking. I LOVE that song and I grew to love it even more after I quit smoking. Crave the Quit!
