Our brains are made to keep us alive. They are not made to keep us happy

I read this quote recently and I thought it would make an interesting discussion. What does this quote make you think about?

Human beings tend to have a bias towards negativity. We are impacted more greatly by negative events than positive events. If we are not careful it can be easy to slip into negative thinking and focus on negative events.

What are your thoughts and experiences with this?

How do you try to stay more positive?

How do you manage negative thoughts?

Please share any thoughts you have.

Ashley
