Eliza,
I can hear the frustration in your post and my heart goes out to you. Life can be so frustrating and so unfair at times!
It has often been said that the only thing we have control over is ourselves. In times of such frustration, it may be helpful to look for evidence of the opposite that is making us so angry. What evidence is there that you are loved? What is going right?
I would also recommend you keep working through the program. You'll learn all kinds of helpful strategies such as recognizing cognitive distortions which often lead us down that negative down spiral. You'll also learn how to begin addressing some of those deeper issues that may have led to your unhappiness. Hopefully, by working through some of those issues, you'll be able to find inner peace.
Lastly, in the later sessions, you'll learn about communication. No better way to get what we need & want from others than to stand up for ourselves and say it out loud. It will also touch on managing conflicts. A useful skill for anyone!
I hope venting has helped make you feel a little better. If you feel the need again, you know where to find us.
