Thanks all and Pete it is so awesome when our grown children want to share in events with us!  Like races, and walks, etc.
DJ it was a fundraiser for National Alliance or Association for the Mentally Ill (I think, my memory is bad).  NAMI

Sarah, I don't know, I had my two year old granddaughter's birthday party to attend today!  It was awesome.  So that was actually two in one weekend.  I think I might take a break from fun activities for a couple of days.  I'm absolutely worn completely out.  But I am sure I'll think of something after I get a bit of "get up and go" back!

I forgot to mention that I danced in the middle of the day at the NAMI event - I did the cha cha stomp and the cupid shuffle - hey, somebody had to teach them how to do it!  lol  It was the most fun I've had in a long, long time!

I will admit I had to choke back some tears a couple of times (what's that all about? oh, wait - depression?) but no one noticed and I did good with choking it back!

Goofy,   Such good news about the trip! So glad to hear it went well!   What is the next fun activity that you have planned?     Sarah, Health Educator

Wow!  I had a great time, my son had a great time and commented I'm bringing Lexi (his dog) when we come back next year....so apparently we are going to make it an annual trip (I'm glad and had hoped for that!).  It was also fun at the event and as you all know the time spent with him was irreplaceable.  So one fun activity down...more to follow!
