Fear of Dying in Panic Attack situations

22 years ago 0 50 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
I have had anxiety problems for some time and have tried to face them out all the time and not be beaten by them. My biggest problem now is while I am understanding the comment that you can't die from a panic attack, one of my biggest fears is that I will die of a heart attack or stroke because of the effects of the anxiety even if it doesn't proceed into an actual panic attack. Call me loopy if you like but I basically live my life in fear. I know what the reasons for some of these feelings are a result of ie not only do genetics play a bit part but my Father has alwlays been convinced that life is so fragile that any one of us could die at any minute, and I grew up with him expressing those feelings. It has ruined my life basically. Can anyone in authority on these matters convince me that you really can't die of a panic attack or anxiety even if its because of a stroke etc.
