Fear of Medication

20 years ago 0 125 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Hi Sadie I too feared meds for the longest time but my anxiety and depression got to the point where I could not function and I felt I had no other choice but take them. I'm glad I did cuz they help quite a bit. One thing I did is not read the side effects at all and gave the pharmacy sheet to my husband. If I had a weird thing happen, I'd ask him if it was on the list of side effects. That worked really well. Try it, it may work for you as well. Best of luck!

Hi Guys I was wondering if someone could let me know if they fear medications. Every time I take medicine I look over all of the possible side effects and think that something is wrong with me. I know it's not true but it scares me. This usually leads to insommnia and also panic attacks. It also is preventing me from taking paxil which I know has helped me in the past. If anyone has some advice I would be greatful. :quest:
