before my panic attacks..after I had my daughter I would have at least 2-3 espressos a day! I loved my espresso! When she was 7 mths is when I had my first attack..I found espresso made it worse, because, like you I tried to have a normal existence, wasnt willing to give up the things I loved....I used to love drinking wine too...I switched to decaf espresso, and I drink minimally. I still have the odd glass here and there, still have my decaf (better than nothing)....and I feel fine. Although it will never be the way it used to be, but to be honest with you, I dont even notice it. Dont think about it or dwell on it. Probably better for you in the long run with or without panic attacks!
Do you mean you gave these things up and are feeling better? Or do you mean you are feeling better without giving these things up? Hee hee... this is awful I know, but I really am hoping that I do not have to give this stuff up (in moderation).
yes, - ME! I actually quit smoking right before my panic started (coincidence i'm sure LOL) And had to stop drinking caffeine because it made me wirey and too jittery so i switched to decaf. I did have headaches for about a week, but now it's fine :)
Good luck!

I do NOT mean to be negative at all and I know this probably sounds terribly ridiculous but do you know anybody who has managed to beat panic without having to give up caffeine, alcohol, and smoking? I want my life back - the life where I could have a cup of coffee in the morning, smoke a few cigarettes throughout the day, and drink 3 or 4 beers on a Saturday night without facing panic attacks thereafter. I am not an alcoholic. I social drink. I also enjoy it very much. I'm really hoping I can beat this and get back to life as normal without having to give up all of these things. At least I am honest....
