Help with agoraphobia

20 years ago 0 1 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Hello fellow sufferers.. i have had agoraphobia now for just over 2 years which has left me housebound and dependant on others.i started with panic attacks around 6 years ago at the age of 26 just shortly after losing my father.i tried some medication from my g.p called paroxatine about 18 months ago but felt this made the panic attacks much worse so i stopped this after a few days.first thing in a morning i seem to have very bad headaches and like a slight tingling sensation in my arms and legs and feel very sick, this seems to stay with me all day and the sypmtoms make it very difficult to leave the house. i dont drink alchol and eat properly although sometimes have to force myself.after 2 years of living like this i really want to get back to living a normal life and back to work. i would like to hear from ppl in a simalar situation and the best way to overcome this. im also considering trying other medication from my doctor but am i little bit scared of any side effects. hope to hear from you. thanks antonio
