When Words are not Enough - great book

A friend of mine gave me "When Words are not Enough - the women's prescription for depression and anxiety" by Valerie Davis Raskin, MD. An excellent read for women thinking about or taking anxiety/depression meds. Dr. Raskin is a leading expert on the impact on psychiatric drugs on women and a prof at the U of C. You can get it on www.half.com for $1.50 plus shipping. She talks about different meds, side effects, talk therapy, and dosages. Most of these drugs are not tested on females (especially child-bearing-aged women) and the dosages are based on studies from men. A great source of info! I highly recommend it!
