Hi,

I have a new digital camera and I can't shrink the photo small enough for an avatar photo of Mocha.  I have my old camera, that sometimes works and sometimes doesn't, so I'll try to get an avatar up as soon as I can resolve the problem.

Hi All,

I went to the Amish Farmer's Market and got a little Chocolate and Tan female Chihuahua puppy!  George named her Mocha.  She nestles into my neck like a newborn baby.  She's 8 weeks old.  My other two Chihuahua's love her and I have a puppy play pen for her.  She automatically uses the wee wee pads, so she's already paper trained.  I have an appointment with my friend who is a Vet, Dr. Benson, this next Saturday for her shots, etc.  George and I are going to Santoni's for lunch afterward.  Dr. Benson is in my home town, so I love going back to the neighborhood to visit.  I haven't seen Dr. B in awhile, so it will be good to visit him again.  Everything's going great, everything is positive, I am enjoying my life and I'm living it to the fullest.  Mocha just woke up and she wants a hug :)  Oh!  I'll post her as my avatar; just give me a second to do that.

Practice, practice, and more practice.  And, never give up!

I am just genuinely happier and at peace.  I am less stressed and less anxious and I'm really, truly enjoying my life now and feel I control it, by my attitude, and I'm not letting circumstances or situations or life control me.  It's fantastic, it's a relief, it feels normal, it feels safe and secure that I can handle it.  I'm a lot less worried.  If I can't control or change something, I look at it differently and make it better that way.  If it's something I can change, I change it.  And, I have peace regardless, because I can control myself and my thoughts.  I'm the Captain of my own ship and I am free to sail how I choose :)  I also have acceptance and I practice self care and self compassion.  Those are key in having a life built on a foundation of freedom and not one built on a foundation of fear.  Writing your values down on paper also has changed my life.  When I feel off or that something is not right, you can bet I'm off in one or more areas of my values and when I practice them, I feel back on track and it works every time.  Facing your fears is the only way to fulfillment, as you once said, Ashley.  Thank you.

That's great Shari!

How were you able to get to that point? What's it like being on positive default mode?

Hey,

Irene emailed and had to cancel tonight, because her husband switched flights from tomorrow to tonight, but we are meeting for coffee next Friday and I've still got the Amish Market tomorrow and the knitting group next week.  I'm still happy.  In the past, I used to get so disappointed and upset if things didn't go as planned.  But, now I go with the flow, knowing there will be many more opportunities to do things. So, I'm not discouraged.  I surprise myself sometimes :)  The positive has really automatically replaced the negative.  I'm on positive default mode :)

Hope you have a good time Shari!

No need to clarify I knew what you meant.
