If you set a goal for yourself and are able to achieve it, you have won your race. Your goal can be to come in first, to improve your performance, or just to finish the race -- it's up to you. - Dave Scott
Or not to finish the race, since even attempting can be good enough when you're tweaking goals.
For some reason, I can't copy and post the daily quote. Your response is going to be tasty! Pop psychologist A Maslow talked about the basic needs in life, and without understanding feeding ourselves, we'd be in a quandary and not able to move to higher things, like relationships...
Thanks for the info. I lost my post so here goes again. I used to live on Lake Athabasca so ate a lot of fish. Mostly trout and other sport fish but also Ling Cod. Ling Cod is rubbery unless deep fried. My favourite was Arctic Char. I used to stuff fish with bread cubes, butter, eggs, onions and parsley. Bake in the oven in the skin or wrap in tin foil and damp leaves and bake in a camp fire.
We grow four lobe peppers because they stand up. We boil them till almost tender then stuff them with cabbage roll stuffing. (cooked) Basically short grain rice, ground lamb (or anything ground even raisins), onions, celery, tomato sauce and bacon if we have it. Bacon is optional. (no salt in any of my recipes) Some times I'll add ground sausage. Hot Italian is best. Peppers can be any colour. Some people can't eat green peppers. Cook in the oven till peppers are done cooking and stuffing is hot. 350.
At 350, after soaked in milk and breaded, topped with garlic cloves on sliced lemon, in an oven on parchment paper with water under the grilled container until it flakes, or about 15 minutes from a cold oven. I prefer rainbow trout or salmon, but mom likes the cod, so that's what I cook. Peppers are overcooked I'm always told, but most cook them in an oven until they're black and peel the skin off, so I'm experimenting there.
