Myth or Fact

Ah, This myth is pretty close to true in some cases.

The rest of that being the case I'm surprised there are not more of us. Maybe there are, they have just developed a way to adapt. Evolution so to speak.

Like the storey of a man who went to the future and everyone was crazy. They put him in jail.

One thing that can not be a contributing factor is capacity, we have more brain than we use. There is lots of room to learn.

When the physical load gets heavy we put it down for a while. When the mental load gets heavy it is not always possible too. So there is alcohol and other stuff to help with the load. Unfortunately it also adds to the load, just not right away.

I bet there are a lot of people borderline just waiting to slip across and join us. The future should be interesting as life gets more difficult and we try to fix it with more "for the majority"

Myth: People that suffer from anxiety are just scared of living.
Fact: There are no clear-cut answers as to why some people develop an anxiety disorder, although it is likely that a number of factors contribute to it’s onset. Like most mental health problems, anxiety disorders appear to be caused by a combination of biological factors, psychological factors and challenging life experiences, including:
•    stressful or traumatic life events
•    a family history of anxiety disorders
•    childhood development issues
•    alcohol, medications or illicit substances
•    other medical or psychiatric problems
