Quote of the day

April 19's quote is speaking to the eradication of "what ifs" and building the possible.  Does anybody think it's inspring in any way?

Hi Everyone:  In life there will always be competition - just like the animal kingdom, for shelter, for food, for passing on genes.  For people it might be in the job market, but speaking of everyday stuff - no need to compete.  Like I wrote before, always someone better than you and always someone worse.  Just be happy with who you are, make the best choices for you. You can better yourself because you want to, no competition, just to be a better you - your choice.  Perhaps try and be better human beings, better at loving our neighbours, doing unto others as you would have done unto you.  Better at your hobbies, better at your favourite sport.  Not really competing, just growing.  Again, as the quote infers, if and what you so choose as a goal.

Does anyone struggle with there being too much competition in the world?
I like today's quote since it is about collaboration instead of competing.

I have known people with such a desire that they have pushed every one and every thing aside to get it. And they are happy and panic free. Unfortunately every one around them is not.

Seeds of hope are like house plants they have no season, anytime will do.

DEBIT

I found a hidden meaning in your quote that I'm not sure if you meant, any way it is funny.

D,
That sounds like the definition of "insanity", someone once quoted to me!  I couldn't respond that I wasn't in agreement, either.

Today's quote, suggests in spring,, which is timely, to plant seeds of hope.  What do you think of that?

Sunny,
The quote to me suggests that "...we discover who we are.." by not looking more closely, but maybe using some other device to mine the value in us.

Does anybody out there know what I mean?

These quotes are usually transformational for the people who write them, so I'm certain there's someone who can nail it...I'm just grasping for straws...?

Hugs:  Maybe microscopes as we study our negative core beliefs. lol

I wonder when the quote was wrote. Seems like it was from a slower time. Many of life's challenges are totally unnecessary and only cause more stress rather than build who we are. Unless it is to prove we are idiots for putting up with them. TV comes to mind. The internet is a close second.

The day to day normal challenges maybe but not the unnecessary ones we seem to be bombarded with. Those build strength, the others eat at our souls.

Here for you,
Davit.

Does anybody think our "fear goggles" could be alternatively changed into telescopes so we can put things into perspective according to today's quote?
