Hi Bren,

Wow, that sounds like a very scary situation. So glad to hear he is doing ok. Sounds like your son's a tough cookie!

Bren,
That's a wonderful insight!  With the pressure of "having" to do something, instead of collapsing, or being paralyzed, you met the challenge and succeeded.

That's the "real" you, isn't it?

We had planned to go see the circus, that had come to town, last thursday, but, when my son called,we spent the intire evening at the ER in the hospital..he had been hurt badly,as they were lifting a 600 lb set of concrete steeps from the work truck, and they fell on his lower face and jaw!
We went first to our local hospital, but he needed more than they could do,so he was transported to a bigger hospital, that had a better truma unit in it..well,,,thank God,no broken bones, just a deep tear in his inside jaw line, and a couple teeth that now need new crowns..he was stiched up,and sent home to bed rest for a few days..he is getting better, but wow, that was a big scare for us!!!
I made it through, without taking a nerve pill!!!
Boy..was i ever tired after that, slept good all night!
Bren
