Another "chance" meeting, was after a sermon at church. I couldn't stay for refreshments, but wished to comment on an additional talk, given by a pastoral associate. I couldn't stay since I had to make lunch.
I'd love to be able to have more freedom, but now I have some caregiving commitments, and most people need to live life around their commitments, whatever they are.
I felt better after the meeting, and the person thanked me for my input
Appreciation isn't something I always get, and that's a caregiver's common experience. After a hectic week, I cooked a nice casserole, but we only had the top part without the good stuff, which was in lower layers. I'm learning about cooking, and used too much, so I didn't continue the layering so the first tasting was skimpy. I also cooked some bread pudding, and it was bit much for one day, since I also squeezed in a workout.
It was nice to have a 30 second interaction with someone other than my mom
