Tips for working through the sessions:
  1. Dedicate 30-60 minutes each day do read the sessions, practice CBT activities and participate on these forums
  2. Read each session carefully, more than 1 time if needed so everything is clear
  3. Write down the homework of each session so one can not skip any step
  4. Finding the time each day to relax (read the relaxation session of this program for tips). In my case I practice yoga with an instructor and at home.

Anxiety causes anger, frustration, sadness and a whole range of emotions. They may or may not go away. Do you really want them to. They are normal. They are also markers of how you feel so you really can't do without them.
Emotions are not the problem. How you think of then is. At a surprise party or a wedding you will have the same emotions as you will with anxiety.
Why should it be okay to cry at a wedding but not at panic. Both situations tell you how you feel.
Emotions are the only markers of your progress. They are also a good release.

Samantha,  It has really helped ,the 10 questions.  I am still slowly going though the sessions, I have a hard time staying focused, so the days that are good are the days I work on that.  Having 4 yr. old twins sometimes keeps me too busy to even think about trying to work on it.  I find that my "what if thinking" dosen't become as scary when I use the questions.  I do have a question,  I am very emotional most of the time, Is that part of having anxiety ?

Hello jaybe,

Glad to see you are taking the steps towards improving your anxiety. Do continue to set yourself goals and check out the session on goals as well. How has the program helped you at this point?

Members, what tips do you have for working through the sessions of the program?
