Dealing with the physical symptoms of Anxiety

Hello Everyone, Yesterday i was having a good day then all of a sudden i felt my heart was beating faster than normal and I kept thinking about it an my Heart Rate went faster and faster, until instead of fighting just accept it and it eased up after that i was ok for a few hr's same thing happened again, I had to tell myself its Not Going to Hurt Me, Nobody has died from this, everything will be fine. Well im learning to cope with it, yesterday made a week since ive had these fast heart rates i just have to keep learning an getting used to this. Now not to change the subject but I used what I learned from this site and it has helped me. For instance before i found this site I wouldnt go to a store or drive alone but by reading the stuff from the site an DOING MY HOMEWORK i was able to get out an go to a public place I admit i get nervous at times, but you have to be Positive about it I know its easier said than done. If you get the fast heart rate, dizziness, etc. try to accept it an not fight it, tell your self " Hey I been here before and im still here ".... So i want to Thank this site an The Support Group for giving me Confidence to start getting out more and helping me little by little, I know its still a long road but there is Light at the end of the tunnel.... Josh
