Hello Jenniferlee

Welcome to the site. You will most certainly get help from the program and people here.

I'm male, and a single parent of two cats so I can't really relate but I am still here to listen. The cure is basically the same no matter what the cause so there is no worry that you are different and it won't work, it will, besides you already have people here that can relate and help.

Here for you,
Davit

Hi Jenniferlee,
As a newcomer 2 weeks in I can say doing the homework and the breathing exercises have helped me so much already. Find your quiet time, (know it's hard with the little pumpkins) and do your breathing. Wish you the best and keep posting !

Thank you for your support. I am looking forward to seeing results and talking to people that actually understand what I am talking about...I have a difficult time explaining the dizziness and detachment I feel to others. Actually I was reading another post by someone who felt like they were "fallin". I also feel like that sometimes. Curiously, as I am typing this I am feeling dizzy....it amazes me what control your thoughts have over your body. I am completely aware that I am creating my own symptoms...i just cannot make it stop.

Hello Jenniferlee,

I am also a mom of 2 small children ages 7 & 10. I am not a single mom I am married however I still worry that my children would be lost without me. I totally understand the way you feel. I also fear of getting sick or something bad to happen to me and what would happen to my kids. This is a great program..you will be fine..

take care

Welcome Jenniferlee !
I believe you will find so many helpful things in this forum. Single Mom also, worried about the same things for years. My Son is now 22 years old and I am still here. I no longer worry about illness, Seems when my Son was old enough and prepared for the world the anxiety went away. You just love your kids and want them to be ok. To some extent that kind of worry is just being a Mom. Single Mom's have a lot to deal with and I congartulate you on a hard job that I am sure you do well.
Lot's of support here for you, so take advantage and let the worries out, so many nice people here to support us.

Well after years of suffering and reading all the self help books I could find, I finally decided that I need real help. Therapy isnt an option where I live so I am here. I am wondering how others have progressed with this program and if people actually feel a difference. I suffer from a generalized anxiety disorder....I worry about everything but my biggest worry is the fear of getting sick. As a single mom for years, my children would be lost without me...at least that is what I have convinced myself. I am tired of being tired, sick of being sick and just want to feel happy, healthy and "normal" again....mostly I REALLY want the dizziness and detatchment to go....Anxiety is a vicious circle....I create my own symptoms and then worry that the symptoms are going to kill me...which creates more symptoms....Im sure some of you understand what I am saying..

So all and all I am excited to be getting help. maybe I wont have to "go it alone" through this anxiety journey any longer.

J.
