Thanks Sunny!  I was so exhausted today and during bowling by the 3rd game I was ready for sleep!  I layed my head down on the table and almost fell asleep waiting for my turn.  lol  I had fun even though we only won 1 game and lost 2.

hi Lisa: glad you made it through without going to ER - now that's a positive!  You were able to recognize and tell yourself it was panic symptoms and although it was tough going, you did it! give yourself a big pat on the back.  I remember how very exhausting it was after a big panic attack.  I was like a ragdoll.  Take it easy, have fun bowling and I hope things go better tomorrow.

Thanks Davit.  Not sure if their phone is messing up or what but never could get through to my Dr.   How nice!  lol  I have been feeling crappy on and off today.  Hopefully tomorrow is better!

If you can't get an answer from your Doctor mine says to take it every second day instead of cutting it in half. This is so you are out of the range of it's half life and less likely to become dependant. But Ashley is right , ask the Doc.  Glad to see you made it through the night. Enjoy your game.

Thank you Ashley.  I will definitely call my Dr.  Actually I have been trying and it has been busy so I will wait awhile and try again!  I have Bowling tonight so I am hoping I can build up energy to do it!

Lisamarie,

I am glad you got through it.  I am sorry you are feeling weak today, try to take it easy on yourself and relax.

In regards to medication it is best to talk with your doctor about your question.

Thanks to all of you!  I made it through without going to ER, which is a huge step for me.  I will be honest though, last night I thought I was going to die....just like before when I had them.  I was able to recognize the symptoms and tell myself it was anxiety, even though I was feeling horrible.  It took awhile for the panic to end, and now today I am really weak and irritable and extra emotional.  I have so many negative thoughts running through my head.  I was better off before I tried taking meds just like before.  I don't know what to do.  Is it safe to take Xanax - the lowest dose for long term?  I am actually taking only 1/2 of the lowest dose.  Please let me know!

Thanks,

Lisa

Hi Lisa

You know you will be all right don't you, I don't have to tell you that, but here I am because I just want to remind you that you have done this before so you will be OK. For the next few hours I will be here off and on if you need some one to remind you that you can do this. I always found when this happened it helped to do something busy but mindless till the Benzo kicked in. Your not alone remember. I'm here and I am sure others are too.

Peace.
Davit.
