 Kendra,
Interviews are hard for everyone! It's my experience that the more you do the easier they are...I've had so many in my life...My fingers are crossed for you too! Good luck!

Sorry I have been on vacation so haven't been as visible lately! But now I am back and in action!

Good idea.

Ashley

I would love to have you contribute also and be more visible. The more information and thoughts the better.

Congratulations on the job interview Kendra!  With each interview you do the easier and more confident you will get so keep it up!

Red, great idea to start this topic.  Feel free to start a thread and see what other members have to say!   I would love to contribute to the thread as well!

Kendra,

Skip ahead to the Role Transitions Session.  My transition is going from a full time Mom to an empty nester with my daughter going to college out of State.  She's a Junior this year.  After doing the exercises in that session, I am on the other side of the transition or have walked to another room as Davit said.  My daughter is leaving tomorrow for Pittsburgh.  Before I would cry for hours and spiral into depression.  Now, I  focus on the positives of my new role and I can now hug her and look forward to seeing her for Thanksgiving break.  I know it's okay to be say and cry, but the difference is how long you wallow in the pits.  You will do great!

Kendra,

Me too.  I am hoping one of the educators can guide us through some session in Mods corner on this topic.

Congratulations on the job interview!!  One down and one to go.  This is real progress...  You are doing great...

I am very interested in exploring change.

I was reading this thread and went back to beginning of the thread.  This topic about Changes has got me thinking about the changes we all go through in life.  I would be interested in finding out more about the stress response and how to deal with such stresses brought on by changes in our lives.  I found it interesting that even positive changes in a person environment can case stress.  It does make sense to me.   I was wondering if anyone else is interesting in exploring this topic?

I am back from interview #1 and I think I did ok. I did do the deep breathing and positive thinking. I took my time to answer the questions etc. I hope I did ok. I know I am new to the field but who knows, maybe they will give it to me!

Fingers crossed. Thanks for the support.

Hopefully interview #2 goes good.
