Hi girl, I have missed you. Yeah no matter how good we get there will always be memories that shake us up. I consider myself cured but every so often something sneaks under my guard too.

Davit, so glad to see you again.

Hey all! Haven't been here in a while! Jus wanted to say hello and let everyone know that Im doing well. I had a panic attack a few night ago that was pretty bad, well worse than the little ones I usually have. But I knew it was bcuz the anniversary of my dad's death is coming up (on Mon, the 24th) and his b-day was y'day (he would've been 61). I read a few pages in my book and put on a meditation podcast on my IPod and was out like a light

Hope all is well with everyone!

Texan.

Want to know a secret. Pretty soon when you have a panic attack you will just say "s--- not again", and go right back to sleep.

Keep posting, I love to hear how you are doing.

Hello

Jus wanted to say hi to everyone - I had a small panic attack Sat night (well, small compared to how they used to be). Normally, it takes at least an hour to calm myself down. But since I've been to the cardiologist and got a clean bill of health, it was easier to rationalize it out in my mind that it was panic making my heart race. And that all the other weird symptoms were all panic related. Took about 10-15 and I was asleep. It was GREAT!

Hi Texan

Good deal!!! I am glad to hear you are ok. It must be a real relief to get good news from your Dr.
One less thing for you to worry about.

Texan, glad everything went well!

Now at least you have some peace of mind.

What do you plan on doing, now that you have this knowledge next time you start feeling anxious?

Hi again!

Jus wanted to give y'all an update: I got a clean bill of health from the cardiologist! My heart is functioning properly and has no abnormalities. My cholesterol is good also. What a WEIGHT of my mind!!!

And so now my anxiety has improved even more. It is MUCH easier to tell myself that it's anxiety when my heart starts to race or I have a flutter. (The cardiologist even SAID flutters are kinda normal ) all those ppl that kept telling me to go the cardiologist and I didn't wanna listen... my bad . It was $150, but it was worth it.
