You can buy the barley tea bags at the Asian markets.

hahaha - yes, often sit under the apple tree (you can't see the bench, but it is there) and have a cup of tea, usually herbal though.

Sunny... I love your new avatar...I can picture sitting there soaking up  the view. So serene. With a cup of tea...
When I'm working I drink a lot of water, cause its hot!..but I must confess I'm not that good at it when I'm at home..you can usually find me with a nice cup of tea. Like right now.. I've tried lots of herbal and fruit teas...but always go back to my Tetley.
Mamamkim...Good for you if you reduce drinking Diet pops...they are hard on the stomach.
Anerol...I'd like to know how to make Barley tea also.
Davit..there is one Care Aid where I work that believes that myth...Drives me... causes me to use my assertiveness more frequently than  I would like to.

Hi Anerol:  I've heard about barley tea.  How do you make that?  I'd love to try it.

I drink maybe one to three? glasses of water per day.. depends and the rest is cold barley tea. I probably drink about 3 to 5 glasses of that. My water bottle is my "support item" during 'outings'.. I feel insecure without it.

I used to drink at least 12 diet cokes a day until about two months ago, then I dropped to three or four until the anxiety went out of control and I have not had any in over a week. I have not been drinking as much water as I should in the past week though, it is rough to get anything down right now.

I drink a coffee in the morning, then a cup of plain water.
Half way through the morning, another glass of water maybe with lime or lemon juice.
Lunch time is with a glass of water or milk.
Then afternoon, a tea, followed by a refill of water.
Dinner is with water again and then at night after dinner after my coffee, a glass of water nearby to drink.
If I'm in the garden working a lot, I sometimes bring water with me and have that, otherwise when I come in, I have a glass of water.
I rarely drink sodas - maybe gingerale when my tummy is upset, which is rare these days.  And about two coffees a day. If I have ice tea, it is diluted to half and half with water, same with acidic juices.
I do have a glass of wine before and with dinner sometimes, then I might skip the water until late evening.
And lastly but not least, a cup of warm milk at night if I'm feeling stressed, or sometimes if I'm a little bit hungry but don't want to snack.
