Hi everyone, I just wanted to post about my day with exposure work, I have had a hard time driving
for a long time now, I have tried to start driving again several time in the past to become overwelmed
and give up, well today I started my exposure work with driving . I decided to start in a local park were
the traffic would'nt be heavy and I drove for 10 mins! Yes I had a couple of panic attacks but as soon as
I felt them coming on I started monitoring my breathing ( I have a tendency to not breath when I panic) and
after adjusting my breathing I was able to continue on, so even though my husdand was with me I still am
really hopeful that in time I can get back to driving by myself !! I have a some questions but I will post it in
another section. I just wanted to let everyone know that it is possible to start concuring some of these fears
that hold us back!!! My best to everyone!
