Karla,

Good to hear you enjoyed yourself with friends and gained a better outlook on things by just talking it through with close ones.  Continue with that support system and let us know how we can help along the way.

hey everyone

thank you so much for all your support!!

i went out with a few friends today to the west end (the took me out for a treat) for late birthday present.was really nice, went out for a meal which was daunting but i got through it and then to see the lion king which was amazing, even tho it was scary because we were about 50ft up and i hate heights and very packed and felt claustrophobic!!but i gt through it and enjoyed it and it was all a surprise!! it has given me a bit of strength but i no my world can come tumbling back down very quick so im enjoying it while i can!i think its what i needed and makes me have a better look on things.

CM amazing quote and very true and everyone can relate to it some way or another!

breanne you were definately right about talking to a close friend!!

Great quote CM - useful for all of us to apply in life!

Karla - hope you are coping better and have been able to reach out to friends or loved ones for support. Please do look into your local community support centres for pregnant moms or women's healt centres that can guide you and help you in any way you need. If your partner does not want you or the baby then that is a reflection of his bad character. You can do better and your unborn child needs you to be a healthy mom. We are all here for you if you need to talk so please post often and let us know how things are developing.

Hi Ya Karla:

How are things today?  I am sorry you are going through a tough time right now.  I agree with Breanne is there any friend or family member you can talk to?  If not are there no crisis help lines where you live, the people there are specifically trained to respond to people in need.  Maybe they could also let you know about other agencies or people that could help you at this difficult time.

Take care and although I have never been in you situation.  My thoughts are with you.

Here is a quote that might help you.

"Roadblocks in life, if we allow them to can be seen as detours into a better direction"

Karla,

I am so sorry to hear that you are going through such a difficult time right now. Is there anyone that you are able to call and invite over? Anyone you could call and just talk to? At times like these it can be incredibly important and reassuring to hear from someone that you care about. I don't think that you have done anything wrong. You will be a great mother. You will get through this depression. You can, and you will get through this.
Hang in there Karla. Please remember that we are always here for you.

Hiya Karla,

Wow you have a lot on your plate! As the others have pointed out, remember that we are here for you.

I am sorry to hear people are unsupportive where you are from. Glad to hear though that you have good friends around you.

As for goals, I think, in a way, we have to figure those out for ourselves. We are the only ones to know where we are at. I think we should make small attainable goals and split them into baby steps. And then reward yourself for evey little bit of progress made!

As for you not panicking, I am impressed. You handled this really well and you should congratulate yourself for it!

Hang in there, we are here for you.
