Non - stop heart palpitations.

I understand. I have had a parallel situation. I have not had panic attacks in likt two years and now all the sudden they are returning with a vengence along with my fears of vomiting or stomach problems which only get worse with aniety and thus make my anxiety worse. An endless cycle. I had the stomach flu too. I got an EKG done before because of heart palpatations that were so persistent I thought it could not be panic. They did subside though and that was quite a while ago. Just get through Christmas. Hang in there. I know how you feel.

Hiya Lorlee! I just wanted to say I am sorry You are having a tough time of it. I find being sick makes me very anxious also. And palpitations are really no fun.But hang in there, you can do this. And remember, this too shall pass! And as you always remind me, be good and patient with yourself :) You are in my thoughts. -Diva

Lorlee, Sorry you are having a rough go of it. Take it step by step and use your journal to pinpoint areas that you need assistance in. Challenging those thoughts can be difficult, but by doing this you make the transition to moving forward. Use the anxiety test to help better assess the situation for you and your doctor. We are here for you and you can do this :) Josie, Support Specialist

I have been quite ill with the stomach flu over the last few weeks and last night ended up in the hospital with anxiety and severe heart palpitations. I have not been sleeping well at all and have not eaten since Sunday so I am sure that is not helping. They did blood work and put me on a monitor and say my heart is fine but the palpitations are not slowing down at all. I just hate them. They scare me so bad. I just wish I could make them stop. I am so worn out. Feeling too tired to fight. Thanks for listening.
