Lorlee, Start by challenging those thoughts and work through this fear. Take it step by step and work your way up to going. The program can guide you through the steps to do this :) Josie ______________________________ The Panic Center Support Team.

Dear Arteest, Thank you for the supportive post. At times I guess we are all a little hard on ourselves. ;)

Lorlee, Don't beat yourself up. I think it's human nature to sabotage yourself sometimes. It's just the disorder talking. Don't let it win today. Let it know who's boss! (I'm working on that one too.) Tomorrow's another day, and hopefully you could get in to see the doc then? Good luck with the rest of your day. Hope it gets better. :) I'm pullin for ya.

I am at a real loss of what to do. I had decided to go to the clinic to see a Doctor today to discuss my heart palpitations. They are driving me crazy. I try to challenge my thinking so I can relax but to no avail. My fears seem to be overtaking me. Then I found myself finding things to do and now it's too late for me to go. Why did I self-sabotage? Even as I am typing this I'm getting palpitations. If I had gone to the Drs. I could have at least felt like I was dealing with my problem. I have felt sad all day and can't get over how ridiculous I am behaving. Why can't I just do what needs to be done? I have had this panic disorder for so long why can't I cope anymore? Sorry to sound so "Oh woe is me" Guess I am having one of those days>
