Well, I still feel a bit nervous going in the shower sometimes but I manage to still go through all my normal cleanliness routines :) Which is great since I like to stay really clean. Not easy being a neat freak when you are afraid of the shower hahaha! But I find myself having less and less trouble with the shower. I have been comfortable more and more often when in the shower which is great. On top of it, I have managed to cross another washing frontier, The bath. I have not been able to enjoy a bath without high levels of anxiety since last december. Yep, a nice relaxing hot bath would send me in a panic, go figure. But last night I finally managed not only to take a nice long hot bath but I actually came out of it more relaxed then before I got in which felt fantastic! I am aware, it might not always be this good as I am still a bit nervous about showers and baths but this success taking a bath definetely encourages me to keep trying :) -Diva

Wow, I hadn't had problems with this one since february but after having a panic attack friday I found myself incapable of getting into a bath or a shower. But today I decided enough was enough and that I would wash. So I nervously got into the shower and made sure to breathe well the whole time and to challenge my thoughts as they came and I managed to take a nice shower and finally get clean to my heart's content. I am pretty happy with myself as this shower/bath issue has plagued me on and off for a very long time. Well that is it folks lol -Diva

Ok, now i am at 11 straight days going into the shower. I have also noticed i do not feel the need to hurry through the shower as much as i did before which i take it is a good sign lol. Also, i don't negetively ruminated and anticipate as much before going into the shower. It is still not always easy but i can defenitely see how it is getting better. I can now imagine a future where a hot shower will be a nice experience again :) -Diva

Since the 7th, i have taken a shower everyday. I know this sounds like a stupid accomplishment but i am really happy and proud of myself. I had developped a real phobia of taking a shower or bath. Now it has been well 7 days if i am counting correctly that i have taken showers everyday. I still get anxious about it but i still do it! I am real happy with myself. Of course i tend to leave my glasses on while in the shower since i find not seeing to make me anxious. Might not be very good for me glasses but i figure i will deal with that one at a later date. Now the importnat part is that for seven days now i have had a shower and that i did fine. Thanks for all your support and encouragements! -Diva
