Yoywie, Does the lexapro seem to be helping you at all now? I think I need to get on meds to help me get better because my irrational fears are starting to hold me back. Just curious if it worked for you, another fellow anxiety suffer ;)

Hi Lisa, Please consider checking with your local health care provider or even a nearby mental health clinic if you have not already done so. Your local pharmacist may also have access to this type of information. Casey ______________________________ The Panic Center Support Team

Hi yoywie, Try to do some deep breathing exercises. Sometimes they help me sometimes it doesn't. But it really depends. It really helps to just go to a quiet place (such as your room) and just medidate. Focus on your breath going in and out slowly and calmly. You will find your mind starts to relax more and more. I know what you mean about the breathing thing. I will have it ALL day. And then if it finally goes away, it ends off with lightheadedness/dizziness, and a headache. Its just one thing after the other. Anyhow, just try not to think too much about it. The more we think about it, the more it will just stay!(I should take my own advice for a change :confuse: ) Let me know how you feel!

I also feel better just knowing other people are going through the exact same thing as me. Day by day I have trouble breathing, sometimes it can be an all day thing. If and when it finally goes away, then comes the lightheadedness/drowsiness. I take Lexapro 10mg but it doesn't seem to do the trick. Hopefully this program will help.

Members, Keep working through the program and learning about your cycle. Keep challenging those thoughts and stopping them dead in their tracks. Keep learning how to bring your anxiety levels back down. It takes time and practice but you'll get there. Just take it one baby step at a time. Keep persevering, Danielle ________________________ The PC Support Team

But as soon as i slow down....BOOM! It comes right back. I will feel dizzy and think, am i going to faint? Is my blood sugar to low? Do i have diabeties?what if what if what if? Hi Miss, I know EXACTLY what your talking about!!!!! I have the same thing.......i have anxiety ALLLLL the time. And like isabella said, it mostly goes away when i'm busy but thats cause we are so focused on what we are doing so we dont' really have time for anxiety lol. I'm always aware of my body too and any changes that occured. Thats what makes the anxiety worse cause if I feel something different or odd, I will get so anxious and worried. Thats when all the stupid negative thoughts come into play. Its like a cycle that is so hard to break. I always have difficulty breathing. its really annoying. I cant stop thinking that I have some disease or cancer etc. But i really just have to stop myself and try to think positive. I wonder how we can get rid of this DAILY anxiety....its so frustrating!!! :confuse:

Miss, I know exactly what you're talking about!! I feel dizzy, nauseous, tense, "on edge", have hazy and blurred vision, etc. pretty much everyday all day. The only time that I feel normal is when I am really busy because I don't have time to focus on anything. I am not sure if it's the same for you but it happens like that for me. Problem is, you can't stay busy constantly and then your minds wanders to all the "what if" and "could be" things that might be wrong. In any case, you aren't alone and I am praying the lexapro helps me get better. Keep me posted ;p
