I also can't tolerate SSRI's. But I can handle some of the "original" SSRI's. I currently take Imiprimine which has very little side effects (on me anyways) and does help the panic somewhat. Maybe worth a shot! HTH, Good Luck!!

Storme, Keep working through the program. Your doctor, pharmacist are great authorities to give you advice on natural alternatives. Consulting them is a good idea as some natural alternatives are not suitable for people with certain conditions or taking certain medications. Keep persevering, Danielle __________________________ The SSC Support Team

HI, My body system doesn't tolerate meds. I've tried several and each time, I've had to stop taking them, so I'm just coping with the GAD and hoping things pan out. I've heard that passionflower is a good alternative, but I'm even reluctant to try that. I forgot to ask my doctor about it during my last visit.

Hi melisnl, Thanks for posting this question here. Fellow members will be responding soon. Please be sure also though to discuss any medication concerns with your doctor or pharmacist. In addition to using medications, you may also want to consider using the free online program offered here to assist with overcoming your feelings of panic and anxiety if you have not already started it. Keep us posted on your progress, Casey _____________________________________ The Panic Center Support Team

Well i have tried about 8 SSRI's and none worked. I would love some relief from my anxiety and panic disorder. Has someone else had no meds work? Also my doc mentioned me trying Buspar. Anyone tried it?
