Squats! The best exercise?

Thank you for making this important point Allevi. If anyone is concerned about form it can be helpful to work with a personal trainer. If a personal trainer is not in your budget there are some great youtube videos that can explain good form.

If you have any preexisting injuries or conditions you feel might interfere with your ability to exercise please consult your doctor before trying anything new.

Thanks for reminding me about squats. Many people do them to make their butt look better, but squats are good for everything on the body. But it is difficult to learn how to squat correctly, and this is very important for maintaining knee health.

If you haven't started incorporating squats into your exercise routine, it's time you start to consider it. Squats are one if the best exercises you can do for your overall strength and stamina. Squating also burns lots of calories. Squats burn 3 to 6 times more calories per minute than cardio on a treadmill! Squats also require zero equipment and you can do them anywhere. Adding weight to your squats can make a squat even more effective but it is best to begin doing squats with just your body weight.

Make doing squats one of your goals for the next month! How many squats do you plan on doing next week?
