Agreed!  Please reach out if you are searching for help.  I can attest to the fact that the journey is not perfect and it makes all the difference in the world to connect with someone who gets it.  We are all here to support you!

Really great message, D1.

If you would like to reach out, all it takes is a simple little post.  "I need help."

We won't judge you, and you are not alone.  Many people here are going through the same thing as you!

  Welcome to AHC

I am speaking  as registered member.

whenever I visit this site I notice the amount of guests that are visiting, at times I have seen it nearly 300 at that one time, and that is on a daily basis.

Point is that is alot of people Googling or binging,  help for alcohol problems, this should tell you that you are not the only one facing this life's crisis and you should not be ashamed or embarrassed that you have come to this Junction in the road of life.

My experience with drinking is that a drinkers opions go unheard,  or we shelter ourselves away and try to resolve this problem on our own, thinking no one wants to hear about it.  there are so many misconceptions about why we drink and those are the ones we are most apt to listen to and believe because we never talked to someone like us.

Just a post like "I drink to much and I want to stop" can be a life changing journey, you will find support from, who I think are the most helpful,  the ones that were just like you and are on the road to sobriety or have reached long term sobriety.

You do not need to sit silently anymore, your voice will be heard, your questions will have answers, and soon you will be wanting to pay it forward to another, you once again feel like and are a contributing factor to life.

Give it a try there is much more to gain, and nothing to lose.
