Hi Pickle,

When you say come to grip what do you mean exactly? What would coming to grip look like if you achieved it?

I had minor issues the next night but now they are gone! Have some mild issues off and on that I think aren't alcohol related and just bought a new cotton blanket to replace our stupid microfiber (basically plastic) blanket. Today is day 7 and I am feeling fantastic. Rested. Clear in the mornings. Have been able to make it to 6 am yoga 3 times in the last week!

Night sweats are a common withdrawal symptom. They can be associated with other causes so if this symptom persists it might be a good idea to see a doctor. Avoid caffeinated beverages in the evening. Try to use cotton sheets and clothing while sleeping. If night sweats are keeping you awake it might be helpful to have a shower and change your sheets before returning to sleep. Meditation and yoga may be helpful.

How are you doing today? Have the night sweats improved at all?

Anyone else experience night sweats when coming off alcohol? I have had them last two nights - day 2 and day 3. I have experienced periods of night sweats before but it has been quite a long time. Hoping it is alcohol related because it is disturbing my sleep and I am just starting to be able to sleep without alcohol!
