I am glad you are moving out soon! It sounds like you really have tried everything. I am also glad to hear you have a positive attitude about such a crumby situations.

Keep us updated

Oh Ashley, I use everything.  I have a white noise machine, I have ear plugs.  The gym is so bad that I wake up because my bed is vibrating from the weights being thrown on the floor 2 floors away.  The good news is that they're leaving on May 31st.  And I have a much quieter new place as of mid-June.  As someone who suffers from chronic fatigue syndrome, I am very aware of how bad the lack of sleep is for me.  I at least now have a light at the end of the tunnel after over a year of this.  I'm going to be fine.

You don't sound like a whiner at all hunster. It sounds like you are under a lot of stress and you are still doing great. I love the alternative drinks you have planned for yourself.

I am concerned when I hear your sleep is being disrupted. Lack of sleep is really hard on the human body and mind. Being tired can be a big trigger for many. How do you think you can remedy this? Have you thought about a white noise maker? Ear plugs? What are your thoughts?

I've had quite the stressful month or so (bought a new home, selling the old one, trying to sleep through a cross-fit gym 2 floors below me that operates as earlier as 5:30 a.m. every day) and sometimes I think I could really use a drink to take the edge off.  I know, of course, that one drink isn't something that is ever going to happen for me.  Although my new drink of choice is Perrier with a squeeze of fresh lime, I have a bottle of non-alcoholic sparkling apple/pomegranate juice in my fridge for when the urge becomes too much.  I might just have to break it open.  I feel bad sometimes on this website because so many people have so many really difficult problems and I feel a bit of a whiner when my stress is so much less than theirs.  I do think that once I move (mid-June) I will be far better.  The lack of sleep has worn me down.  Thanks for listening!
