I'm here with you too David, and also pledge to abstain from alcohol again today. I did end up drinking a little bit yesterday at a friend's birthday dinner but made the decision ahead of time, part way through the day and have decided that I can try "special occasion" drinking (but only real special occasions, not like "hey Thursdays are special"). So today is definitely an abstinence day for me.
I extend my hand out to other members, in the hopes that they will grab hold of it, and that as one we can pull together, becoming stronger, helping each other to fulfill our hopes and desires to recover from our alcohol abuse.
