Thanks David! I made it through the toughest day yet without a drink! Pretty happy about that. I went to see a movie instead of staying home and drinking a bottle of wine which would be what I normally would have done. I hope your day was great!

Hi jojo64, and dvdb.

You are once again welcome to join me as always jojo64!

dvdb I had no idea there was a longer version to the serenity prayer. Care to share it with us?

Be well,
David.

Hi David,

I extend my hand to you again today in our common pledge to abstain from alcohol. This will be the hardest day yet for me because I don't have the stress of studying for the GRE to keep me from drinking and I do feel like I should reward myself. I think I can do it though and congrats on your upcoming milestone. I hope you find a nonalcoholic way to celebrate.

Good morning AHC.
My goal is to abstain from alcohol again today.

I extend my hand out to other members, in the hopes that they will grab hold of it, and that as one we can pull together, becoming stronger, helping each other to fulfill our hopes and desires to recover from our alcohol abuse.

Be well,
David.

God,
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change,
Courage to change the things I can,
And wisdom to know the difference.
