Welcome TheBigJG,

Saving money is a great motivator. Congrats on getting started! How has it been going for you so far?

I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time. I’m not wealthy. I invest whatever money I have after paying bills and spend money on cigarettes and beer. The plan is to stop that and start applying the opportunity cost towards investments. If I lose it all? Well, it would already be up in smoke...I often look at the many people in poverty who are buying cigarettes at the local convenience store. This will definitely change things for me financially. I’m tired of living paycheck to paycheck.
