Hi StSc37,
Welcome back! It's great to hear that you are still on your quit journey, AND that it's getting easier as time passes.   "I have to say that this quit feels much different from the past.  I don't feel like I am trying to suppress an urge, I'm just trying to learn how to live again." This sounds wonderful. It sounds like you have the right mindset now. Stay on that path to freedom, and keep your guard up.
Stay strong.

Thought I would check in.  I quit posting because the website doesn't like my browser and I thought the forums were actually down.
Support helped me and I am back up.

Anyway... 38 days!  I feel great!  I *think* of smoking just about every day at some point but it is just empty triggers, I honestly don't have any desire to smoke.
I went to a hockey game with my buddy (who still smokes) and went out with him at intermission.  He smoked, I chewed a piece of gum.  Zero desire to join him.
I think I am in the lull phase now.  I expect some cravings are still to come but it feels good to have the persistent cravings gone.

I have to say that this quit feels much different from the past.  I don't feel like I am trying to suppress an urge, I'm just trying to learn how to live again.

Enough rambling, thanks for listening!
