Hi Alison, I wouldn't say I'm a medical professional but I have done heaps of courses in natural medicine which involved learning anatomy and physiology and I've done other various short courses do to with medical stuff. I found having a bit of knowledge of the workings of the body helped me understand panic disorder a bit better, knowing what sparks of a symptom like dizziness during a panic attack helped me to rationalise what was happening and it didn't freak me out as bad as it once did.

Just curious to how many people out there have real ( not google trained ;p) medical training? I keep thinking the more I know the more I might get better. Just wondering if this is a problem for anyone who knows actually how the body works?
