Hi, I'm also on Day 5 and feeling a little rough. I am using NRT however which prevents the cold turkey effect. Day 3 was also really hard. It's difficult trying to fill up the time I spent smoking with other things. It will be a slow adjustment. It's so worth giving up though, I feel like my life has improved already even if I do feel a bit off I know it will pass. I really don't feel like smoking either which is great. Keep going!

Hi Faithy,

I am sorry to hear you are feeling so crumby. That sounds really hard. Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on how you look at it) all of these symptoms are most likely related to withdrawal. You can check out information on common withdrawal symptoms in the program. I believe session three discusses all the symptoms you mentioned - take a look.

I hope you feel better soon!

I'm on the 5th day of quitting cold turkey and it's horrible, I had lots of hot flashes on the second day and I've had a headache for the past few days but today.. I feel terrible, my headache has intensified, I feel nauseous, and heartburn? Anyone else get heartburn? I'm tired and fed up.. Just wanted to compare this to other people's experiences to check it's just normal. On the plus side though I haven't wanted a cig all day cause I've felt like poop, lol
