It been quite some time since I have stopped in as I am very busy this time of year.
Nice to see some New People winning their battles one day at a time, Good job to all of you
Also nice to see the old support team still sharing and helping everyone along.
Nice new avatar working on it and congrats on passing 400 days
Heading out on my first camping trip with my Brothers who are still smoking.
When I come back I will have 300 days as a Non smoker and a few more triggers conquered.
Have a Great smoke free weekend everyone.

Hi VIV,  The most Amazing thing (and the most unexpected) was the CALM that comes with quitting. As you keep down this road we've choosen there are other, more subtle but not less Amazing, things that will happen.

Only just seen this can I join in? I am tackling each day with ease now. No lengthy lingering thoughts of smoking. Just facing up to my new way of living. Thankfully life is now a little less stressful and I can breath more easily. I will not smoke today or tomorrow ? N.O.P.E. VIV

Hey Gang!

Been a few days since I've had the opportunity to stop by and say hi!  Things are going crazy at work and I sometimes feel that one more customers' piece of broken glassware is going to cause the whole pile to avalanche on me!  Even though the stress is high, I will not smoke!

Looks like things have been slow on the boards the last couple weeks!  I'm glad y'all are still hanging in there!  Be sure to check for new posters on the different threads and let them know we're still here supporting them!  They'll really appreciate it!

HEY  SNICE!!!  Looks like you've had a slip?  So happy that you did not give up on your quit and are back for round two... your for ever quit!!!  Try to consider that first go round as your practice quit and let's get 'er done!  You had a big taste of that freedom and I know you want more!  If you need a hand or a shoulder or anything, just ask!  We're here for you!  You CAN do this!!

Breath deep and enjoy your summer, buddies!

              Jim

    Cigarettes Not Smoked

Thanks for your support.

The weekend went surprisingly well, I avoided any situations that I now know are triggers for me to smoke.  I am feeling really good about this quit.  It's only been a week, but I already feel a huge difference in my breathing, and I haven't been coughing in the mornings.  Just going to take it one day at a time.
