Congrats on your 1st smoke free day. I am only 7 days into my quit, and trust me it does get better! Drinking lots of water and deep breathing exercises got me through all my cravings during hell week. Good LUCK and remember Not One Puff Ever (NOPE)

Congrats ! I've only been smoke free for 12 hrs. I stopped on Friday & slipped up. Sounds like you're off to a great start. Add me as your buddy... Together can do this . Best of luck.

Congratulations on a fantastic day one malagueta! Welcome to the site.

It sounds like you are off to a great start. Feeling cranky, tired and having headaches are all common withdrawal symptoms. Drink plenty of water and if you are tired, rest. Your body is healing right now and needs all the help it can get. Eating healthy and exercising is a very good addition that will help with withdrawal and overall health but try not to take on too much. Make sure your quit is top priority and if that means skipping a work out then so be it.

Curious, What motivated you to quit now?

Hi :) Im new to the site and today was my first smoke free day! It started quite easily to my surprise as didn't crave for that first in the morning but also woke up quite positive and knowing this time will be different! In the afternoon started with the headache and late afternoon felt a bit cranky but overcome it still no cravings by then. Tonight got home got my boy ready and in bed and then my craving hit as I normally wind down with a fag outside after my son is in bed but as the craving hit I called mum instead and told her about quitting fags she was thrilled! My headache is still around and feeling pretty knackered so was contemplating giving up on the wii Zumba workout (1st one ever) but then noticed the pattern of excuse making and pushed myself and feel really happy did as headache is gone! Overall happy only used the 2 mini tabs, didn't smoke stuck to diet and even exercised!!! :) Sending lots of strength and positive vibes in remaining smoke free :)
