Day 5

10 years ago 0 152 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0

Thanks Eyja!!!  Today has definitely been easier :)  Had some bad patches but they passed swiftly enough with some deep breathing.  Amazingly I already feel as if I can inhale much more air than I could 6 days ago.

Humming 'I Am Free' today!!!!!  Still have quite a few hours to face but  feeling confident

Yes! it absolutely does get easier Carols - keep your great attitude up!  Remember your deep breathing - your calming mantra (below)  is very good!  Maybe even try to purse your lips a bit when inhaling - something about that seems to give me a more purposeful lungful of O2 - not sure why, but whatever works!  You are truly Rocking this Hell Week with your dancing and aromatherapy! Your sun will be back  and maybe a nice walk under a big umbrella would work for today?? Either way - keep it up - your doing Great!

Well the PM of day 4 was the roughest I've faced.  The withdrawal is becoming tiring and the cravings wear you down.  So I had to put on music, dance around the room and Laugh out Loud to keep my spirits up!  Made a new list of the benefits and smelled all my different perfumes now that I can truly smell them.

Hanging in there....it is raining and I can't go for my walk.  Hoping it will stop later as fresh air helps!!!

This does get easier yes????

Glad to see that you are still "on the wagon," Hamlet.

Working is probably a good idea. When I quit, it was a very busy time at work, and that was a good thing for me.

Keep up the good work!

Great work Hamlet!

What's your plan for the long weekend? How do you plan to distract yourself?

Hi hamlet,

Congratulations on your five days! It looks like you've gotten through the worst part. Now it's just a matter of developing new habits of mind and behavior. I look forward to seeing you around.
